Blang is 20 years old and to celebrate we asked twelve current acts to record covers of tracks by others from our back catalogue. We thought it’d be good, but not this good. Each track is stamped with the personality of the covering artist. From the blistering version of The Awkward Silences’ “Getting Ready For My Life To Begin” by Parisian riot women Les Becasses to Jeffrey Lewis’ warm lo-fi rendering of Seth Faergolzia’s charming “Garbage Night” the LP is full of magical grooves.
Limited edition of 300 cherry red vinyl LPs with extensive notes by the artists. Unlimited Bandcamp streaming.
From the Blang bandcamp shop.
